Who We Are

We are a diverse group of women who would never have likely connected with one another except for one thing we all share: each one of us has walked through the doors of an abortion facility at some point and ended the life of our unborn child.

The act of abortion that we thought was going to solve a "problem," save a relationship, or preserve a career, started us down a long path of self-destructive behavior, emotional distress, and spiritual confusion. While each of us has our own story, we have chosen to weave our stories together to share with others a side of abortion that is rarely heard.

Our desire is to share the truth in love in hopes that those who hear will be better equiped to reach out to others who are struggling with a current choice or a past decision concerning the issue of life. We don't want to condem anyone, criminalize anyone, or even debate anyone. We merely want to share our stories and personal encounters with loss and redemption. Stories that few are willing to share, yet stories that need to be heard.

Why You Should Hear the Panel

With an estimated 63 million abortions performed each year on a world-wide scale we must indeed conclude that abortion has touched virtually every segment of our society. You may not have personally had an abortion, but chances are you know someone who has been involved in an abortion. The numbers are exceedingly great and for many the secret of abortion is kept for many years. This may be your spouse, your child, your grandchildren, your sibling, your friend or neighbor, your roommate, or the person sitting next to you in church. The panel speaks publicly to share the message of hope to those hurting from abortion as well as to educate and mobilize the church and the public concerning the negative effects of abortion on individuals and society. We have chosen not to be silent any longer, believing that once the church becomes informed, healed, and mobilized that abortion will cease to exist. It is our hope that you will join us in this endeavor.

What Others Are Saying

Colleen Samson, 40 Days for Life ND Chairperson

What a gift this group of women has been to the pro-life arena. How we pray God will continue to use them to proclaim the truth from the rooftops! Abortion is never the solution to a problem. They know, they have been there, and they have overcome by the Blood of the Lamb.

MaryPat Jahner, Administrator, St. Gianna Maternity HomeL.E.

I have attended a PALS presentation a few times, and each time I have been blessed to attend. I come away with a deeper recognition of the evil of abortion; the deep sense of loss and regret it has on the mothers and those involved and an even deeper sense of the hope and joy in the mercy of God. The women on the panel with great courage and emotion share their own journey of grief and loss and destruction to forgiveness and healing. The witness of these brave women changes hearts and saves lives. Thank you for humbling yourselves for the greater glory of God!

Pauline Economon - Former ED of First Choice Clinic | Fargo, Devils Lake, and Bismarck

Hearing these very personal stories will change you. Be prepared for God's grace to work in your heart when you hear these stories. Learn the lesson that life is good and all life is a gift from God!

Pastor Terry Kern, Truth Fellowship Live | Bismarck ND

God touched my heart through the PALS in indescribable ways. I have rarely seen such courage and humility anywhere in 'The Church' in recent times. I have been a pastor for a long time and have lots of experiences, but listening to those women talk about the horrors of their sin, the many varied deceptions of the enemy that led them to that abortion clinic, and then the beauty and the love of our blessed Savior and His grace and forgiveness -- every person under our shepherding care needs to hear this. I would say that the PALS presentation is one of the most impacting presentations about abortion that I have ever seen or heard. Both guys and girls need to hear this, and college students need to have an opportunity to sit through this presentation.

The PALS have done presentations in North Dakota and Minnesota to various audiences.
